Wanna add a puppy to your family?
If you see a puppy you like, put a deposit on him or her. You can do this one of two ways. We prefer PayPal. There is a "Pay Now" link to the right of the first picture of each puppy. If you click on that it will walk you through sending your deposit. The deposit is $250.00 plus a 6% fee that PayPal charges. $250 will be deducted from the total cost of the puppy to reflect the balance due.
If you would prefer to send a check or money order you can do that also. But please be aware that we cannot guarantee that the puppy you want will be yours until we actually receive the funds.

The Deposit
We require a deposit to hold your puppy. The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE and is not transferable unless, of course something happens on our end. In that case we will refund your full deposit.
Your puppy will be ready to go home at 8 weeks of age. If you have not made arrangements to get your puppy additional fees may be added onto the cost of the puppy for food, shots etc. If arrangements have not been made and your puppy has not been taken home within a timely manner your deposit may be forfeit and the puppy will find a new home.

So you wannna' meet your new puppy?!?!?
The ideal time to visit your puppy is at six weeks of age. At this time your puppy will have had its first vet check and first set of puppy shots.
We update pictures on our web site often and will answer any questions you have about the puppy you either have a deposit on or are interested in. We can try to determine temperament and relay that information on to you.
The puppies eyes open at around ten days of age at which time they start exploring- just pulling themselves along for a few days and then on to those first wobbly steps. By 4 weeks they are really starting to get around and developing personalities. They are starting to eat solid food and depending on Mom less. They tumble around with each other and start chewing on things. They run out of energy quickly and curl up for numerous naps during the day.
We understand that picking one puppy from a litter can be hard without some personal contact. A visit before 6 weeks of age is not in the best interest of the puppy or even Mom.

When can I get my puppy?
All of our puppies go to the vet at 6 weeks of age for their first set of shots, worming and vet check. (We considered giving shots and worming ourselves, however, we like that the puppies get a pretty thorough vet exam prior to going to their new homes.) Assuming the puppies are eating well (solid food) and the vet gives the “OK”, the puppies will be weaned from mom that day- she has already started that process due to the fact that those little puppy teeth are quite sharp and painful. Normally, your puppy can go home right around 8 weeks of age. If we feel that your puppy is not eating as well as he or she should be or demonstrates in any way that they are not ready to leave us we will not allow it to go home until we feel it is ready.
By 4 weeks the puppies are really starting to get out and explore. At this time we give them access to puppy food. Generally they devour it as soon as we put it down! So by 6 weeks their diet has started to transition from that of only moms milk to that of almost only solid puppy food.
The reason that we think it best for healthy, strong, well eating, weaned puppies to go home asap is that........... after the puppy is weaned from its mother it begins, what we consider to be, a critical bonding stage. Rather than your new puppy forming a bond with us we feel that it is important for him or her to start forming those bonds with their new families. This is a critical time for your puppy. IF we feel that your puppy needs to stay with us any longer, we will continue working with them in house breaking and basic training.
