We LOVE our chickens, they are quite spoiled little bitties. We have red stars, black stars, RIR, speckled Sussex (my favorite) and ameraucanas.

I have so many favorite breeds but I think English Orpingtons are my favorite. Yes, we currently have chickens....and ducks, geese, turkeys, Guinea fowl, and quail.

My favorite breed of chicken are silkies, but I would love to one day have a Sumatra! I do currently have chickens, I have some that are little over a month old, and some that are still babies!

My favorite is probably the Bielefelder or the cochin. I love heavy birds. I do have a couple chickens, but my crop for this fall was just demolished by a domestic ferret that just showed up - we lost 32 chicks this year.

OH NO!! Several years ago we lost our entire flock to a bear. My Dad has since built a fortress to keep the ladies safe!

My 2 boys have a set of chickens, they (we help of course) take care of them each day and sell the eggs to help build up their savings account! It’s a great gig for them and I love having the fresh eggs!

My daughter started taking care of her "Ladies" when she was about 2. She had 60 of them! She would sell them where I worked. She had to pay for their food out of her "eggie money" and any supplies that she needed. She had quite the little business going :-)

I'm very new to chichen so I don't have a favorite ..... yet! A friend has some Polish dancing chickens that are really pretty (I don't know if that's a breed or not, that's what he calls them!) Can't wait to get my first "batch"!

My kiddos love their Polish. They are funny little chickens. I think they are way more curious than most other breeds.

I really like the Brahma. They are big and don't produce as well as some of the other breeds that we typically offer but I still like them. I have been wanting Buff Brahmas for a while and finally got some!

I have four types of chicken breeds in my little flock and can’t help but love them all! But the baby buffs falling asleep every night in my hands and purring are incredible.

Love my girls! My Buff Orpington is one of my favorites. I've had chickens for several years. I do love to have a variety!

I think the Speckled Sussex are probably the friendliest chickens I've raised....and my favorite!

I LOVE silkies but have always wanted a Lavender Orpington, Cochins and some Polish hens. Well anything with the lavender colors. 😍 Anything that’s fluffy! I have 14 of my own. Chicken math...lol
