My daughter Lizzie (3 1/2) has established quite the little egg business! Unfortunately, due to an upcoming medical procedure I will not be able to help her care for her ladies for a few months. We are downsizing her flock of nearly 60 ladies to just a handful. All of the $$ for the sale of her Ladies will be going to Lizzies “business” account so that she can rebuild her flock when the time comes.
We will be “delivering” her Ladies to their new homes all along I25. From as far north as Fort Collins all the way down to southern Colorado. We have not set a date yet but it will likely be in the next week or so.
Most of the ladies were hatched in October or November of 2017.
They are all being sold as “Barnyard Mix” but they could be any of the breeds listed below or a mix of any of the breeds!
Light Brahma, Black Australorp, Buff Orpington, Easter Egger, Olive Egger, Welsummer, Wyandotte, Rhode Island Red, Production Red, Dominique and Barred Rock.
The ladies went through molt in November and December and most of them are just starting to lay again. Up until November we were getting about 35-40 eggs a day. All shades of brown, light blue, green, olive and pink….no white eggs.
