Dogs, chickens, Grandparents and Kids OH MY!!

My goal was to put something on here at lease once a week. That has yet to happen.
Squish's puppies are all doing well. Their eyes are opening and they are starting to wobble around. Their personalities should be starting to show very soon now. And our lives should start to get even more hectic with 6 little puppies running through the house.
Rayne's puppies are the cutest little things ever!!! 4 of them, 3 boys and a girl. This is her first litter and she seems to be very confused. Are they puppies or toys?! Why are they making so much noise?! She is catching on though. She doesn't like us being around them yet. Very different than Squish who is ready to hand them out to anyone that wants to take them for an hour or so!!
Onto the chickens. We moved 40 Ameraucana pullets out to the barn last week. They are all doing great, with heat lamps of course. They are about 6 weeks old. We have 25 Australorp pullets and some banties in the basement right now and 50 more Ameraucanas should be her by the end of the week. I think that is all for the chickens!
Grandparents and kids oh my!! My Grandparents have recently moved in, they are close to 90 so there is never a dull moment. Kids.....well kid, my niece who is three. She is a big help, ALWAYS wants to help. Feed the chicks, count the chicks, hold the chicks and try to catch the chicks when they manage to escape and run all over our basement!!! She checks on the puppies, feeds and waters the moms, goes outside to take care of the others and did I mention she has a thing with MUD and we have a lot of it!!
OK, that is all for now. I will be back in the next day or two with more interesting, or maybe not so interesting, happenings form Our Littlebit Ranch!!

Hello Amanda: Yona is doing great. 4 months old now and is everything we could have wanted. Smart, affectionate and just fun to be with. A little skitish around strangers but we are working on that. Sleeping in our bedroom outside of his crate at night and so quiet. He weighs about 21 lbs now. Going to the vet next week for his puppy distemper shots. Has been visited twice by the dog groomer and loves it.
Started puppy training at PetsMart last week. Have sit, look and down commands down perfectly. So smart! I will stay in touch.

Ginger is having her intermediate training classes at Petsmart soon. I would like to have her as my therapy dog! Lot of work though. She longs for a new puppy to play with which I am looking into. We take long walks at the river walk and she runs at the baseball field here in Florence. Loves to chase the ball and sit and get her treats for a reward of course. What treats to you give your Aussie? We sure long Ginger. I am trying to look for a place to post a picture!

Sorry it has taken so long for me to get back to you. Until now I have not been able to respond to posts.
I am glad Ginger is doing well. As far as treats, we make our own. Give me your mailing address and I would be happy to send you a few!! Keep is in mind if you ate looking for a brother or sister for Ginger. We have two males available now but we aren't expecting another litter until winter if not later than that.
Keep us posted. We love to hear how the puppies are doing as they grow and would live to see pictures. Email them if you would like. We would love to post them! The email address is ourlittlebitranch@gmail.com
