We are reducing the size of our Blue Laced Red Wyandote flock. This is a young flock that has produced a great variety of colors. This is a perfect starter flock either for egg production or start hatching your own chicks.
These are beautiful birds, add some color to your back yard flock :-)
This flock includes 3 roosters and 5 hens. WHY so many roosters??? You must have a variety of colors in your flock to continue producing the Blue Laced Reds. We have found that this is the perfect proportion to produce excellent coloring!!
Don't want that many birds. We will sell a smaller flock of just 1 rooster and 2 hens.
These are very docile, almost friendly birds. Great dual purpose birds (although I think they are way too pretty to eat!). Right now their eggs are on the small to medium size but as they mature a littel more they should start producing meduim to large eggs.
If you choose to hatch a few chicks rather than eating all of the eggs………if given the proper environment these hens will be broody, or collect the eggs and put them in the incubator. So far we have had an incredable hatch rate from this flock.
We will NOT sell just a hen. We have worked hard, done a lot of research and spent a lot of time getting the perfect flock together.
