We have a very large kennel area for the dogs with about a half an acre fenced in area for the dogs to run in. They are loose in that during the day, since it would be nuts to have them all running out on the 40 unfenced acres all day! Every night we go out, put a few into the kennels and bring a few into the house. Easy right? NO WAY!! That alone takes a good long time, not to mention feeding and watering them, taking care of the chickens and guinea hens, brothers goats, and the other dogs!! I think we must be crazy. Some dogs can go into a kennel together, others have to be separated, some come in, some stay out. Professional dog sorters, that what we are! This is like one of those math problems from high school......... Rayne seem to like Dusty too much, Chance (the boy) cant be with Susann, Star or Do Si, if Star and Do Si stay outside they have to be together, they can be with Susanna and they can be with Dusty. If only you said the dogs name and the kennel it was supposed to go into and they just sat there and waited for their other kennel buddies it would be great, BUT that not how it works!
Well, it has warmed up the past day or so and none of the dogs want to come inside :( Star and Do Si have been inside every night since we got them, Dusty has been sneaking out of the kennel and into the house and I have wanted Rayne inside lately..............none of them wanted to come inside tonight :( Looks like Daisy will be the only one inside with me tonight. That means Abby will get to sleep in a little longer. Lets just hope that they don't start barking in the middle of the night. That wouldn't make me too happy!
Now that that is taken care of, off to the basement for one last check on the chicks then some more work on the website and responding to emails!!
